You will write a total of 600 words, in 12 point, Times New Roman font. The project needs to be double-spaced, including 4 pictures, and 6 properly formed citations. (It is okay to use a citation creator website to help you. Just listing websites is not the proper way to cite reference works). Use of wikipedia is not allowed, as it is not considered a proper academic website. Any links I have provided this term are excellent references, as are websites like encyclopediabrittanica.com, or history.com, etc. You should include at least 6 citations (each period should have at least one citation), on a works cited page at the back of the project. 600 words is less than 3 pages of typing and will be easy once I break it down for you. You are to write the main points/composers/contributions of each of the following periods in music history: Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and early American music, particularly Ragtime and Early Jazz. In other words, about 100 words per required musical period). Trust me, there is MORE than enough to do this very easily, especially when you add key composers from the period. I did this so the project might be worked on in stages. I do remember being a student, and I would not have stressed so much over a project, rather than a paper.
