Description
Read Ch 6 then Answer the following question.
As Bob is walking to class he decides to take a short cut and walk through a construction site on campus at his school. He falls and gets hurt from some of the scrap metal. School officials asked Bob why he walked through a prohibited site and lacked the common sense to know that it could be dangerous. Bob said that he didnt see any signs prohibiting entry and the fence was open. So he assumed that it was okay to walk through, after all, he always sees many students go that way and they must have common sense too. Use your knowledge of Unintentional torts to analyze the situation.

2 List some popular companies along with their trademark names, slogans and see if you can attach a thumbnail pic of their logo if you can (easy to do) . For example Nike, Just Do it and the Nike swoosh symbol are all protected by trademarks and no other company can use these symbols without permission or paying a licensing fee to Nike.
3. What do you think about slogans, do most people remember them? That is what the companies want, like Nike’s “Just Do It” Slogan, that one is easy. But there are so many out there, state your opinion here.
4. Recently a jury ruled that singers Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke copied parts of Marvin Gaye’s hit 1977 song “Got to Give It Up” to create “Blurred Lines,” and it awarded $7.3 million to Gaye’s family for copyright infringement, later reduced to 5.3 million.
