Geriatric Patient Population

 focus on nursing interventions.  Do you envision the nurse assessing for the therapy need?  Would there be an educational intervention the nurse could implement need another PICOT that is nursing base?

(2026.) This makes me wonder about how we can improve mental health in low-income communities.  I currently work in the emergency room of a small-town hospital. Mental health is a very large issue in my area. In 2019 we had an inpatient facility for adults and an inpatient facility for adolescents. Thes facility shut down at the end of 2019 making it even harder for mental health patients to get the care they need. I know that a lot of programs offer cell phones to low-income families, this makes me wonder if telehealth would help the desperate need for mental health care. Many of my patients end up in the emergency room from public behavior reported to police when they are off their medications. When mental health patients are asked why they are off their medications it is often due to missing appointments for their refills.
