In this discussion, you will be posting your draft of Project 2 and participating in a peer review exercise with your classmates.

Peer review is an essential part of the Writers Studio Writing Process, it is part of feedback. The feedback you receive will help you make revisions to your Project 2 draft.

Before beginning this assignment, make sure you review the Project 2 assignment description and rubric and consider all project grading criteria. Also review the Project 2 Feedback Learning Materials page so you learn about the benefits of peer review and you know how to best complete your peer reviews.

This assignment has two deadlines – one for posting your draft, and another for completed peer reviews.

Instructions

Step 1: Post Your Draft

First, post your completed draft of Project 2.

Step 2: Identify Peer Review Partners

After the first due date, you will review two peers projects .

You should review drafts of the person above you and the person below you in the discussion thread.
If your name happens to be at the top of the list, complete a review for the person below you and the person at the bottom of the list.
If you happen to find your name at the bottom of the list, you will review the project of the person who posted directly above you and the person whose project appears at the top of the list.

Step 3: Review Two Drafts

Download the Peer Review SheetActions to complete both of your peer reviews.
Read each of your peers drafts thoroughly from beginning to end.
Complete the peer review form for each peer you review.
Post your completed reviews to the discussion board by replying to your peer’s post and attaching the form.

Complete reviews of two of your peers drafts using the peer review sheet
Attach the completed peer review form as a reply to your peers
Your draft and peer reviews should be formatted as a Word document or PDF
