Sanford Brown College Issue Solution Discussion
Description
To create a solution, first you must identify the problem. It sounds simple, but most people prefer to call the plumber before trying to understand why the sink is plugged. For your initial post, log the steps of your own personal experiment using the scientific method and share the results by uploading a photo of your process. For your response, offer an alternative hypothesis to your classmates result. Your response could even be an alternative experiment!

I love to make hard boiled eggs for breakfast or just a quick snack. But I am always moving around and/or leave the house before I get to make all the hard-boiled eggs that I want. Sometimes when I come back to my eggs, I tend to forget which eggs I already boiled and which ones I didn’t. So, I did a little experiment so that I could figure out if an egg has been boiled or not without having to crack it.
Observation: Egg hard-boiled or still raw
Question: How can I quickly find out if the egg is boiled or not.
Experiment: Use gravity to tell if an egg is cooked. Get the egg that I am doubting and get an egg from the fridge to compare them. I then put them on the table and have them spin so you can note the differences.
Analysis: The liquid in a raw egg moves around when the egg is moved
Conclusion: When the egg is boiled if you spin it, it’ll move smoothly unlike a raw egg that will spin in a wobbly way
